Process
How our service works
Seven steps from your first message to a repaired appliance, with the decision points where you're in control.
- You send a request. Online at Book online, or by phone or text. You tell us the appliance, the symptom, the brand and model if you have it, and your preferred date and arrival window. This is a request, not a confirmed appointment.
- We confirm a window. A dispatcher reviews the request and replies by text or phone within 1 business hour with the next available window. The appointment is confirmed when you say yes. You'll get a confirmation message with the window and the $89 rule.
- The technician is on the way. You get a text when the technician is heading to you, within the confirmed window.
- Diagnosis. The technician confirms the symptom with you, inspects the appliance, and identifies the cause. This is what the $89 covers.
- The written finding. Before any repair, you get a one-page finding: symptom, observation, cause, recommended repair with parts, labour and total, and our verdict on whether it's worth repairing. Quebec customers: this is your written estimate under provincial rules.
- You approve, or not. Approve and the $89 is waived; the repair proceeds, on the spot when the part is on the truck, or on a return visit when a part must be ordered. Decline, or hear us recommend replacement, and $89 is all you pay.
- Repair, test, invoice. The technician completes the repair, tests the appliance with you, and issues the invoice with a secure payment link. The invoice carries the finding, the warranty (90 days on labour and installed parts) and the job reference for your records.
After the visit
If the repair doesn't hold, you call us first and we make it right under the warranty. We'll also ask you for a review once the job is done; you're free to decline, and we never filter who gets asked.
