Upright freezer: interior side trim; chest freezer: left exterior wall above the access panel. Range: interior side trim of the oven, the left side panel, or the front frame of the storage drawer. Wall oven and microwave: interior side trim of the oven. Cooktop: underside of the cooktop base when lifted. Range hood: beneath the unit on the left side panel or by the filter. Dishwasher: interior side of the door or right side of the tub. Front-load washer: trim of the door; top-load: back of the tub opening under the lid. Dryer: top of the door opening. Laundry centre: trim of the dryer door.

Parts and compatibility
Frigidaire parts are Electrolux North America parts and are widely stocked in Canada for mainstream models. Control boards, ice makers and door assemblies are model-specific; wear items such as elements, defrost heaters, fan motors and gaskets are usually straightforward to obtain. On a low-cost appliance the part price can be a large share of the replacement cost, and the written finding always shows both numbers. Parts for units over about fifteen years old may be discontinued.

On a top-freezer model, look on the upper left side wall inside the fresh-food section. On French-door and side-by-side models, look on the upper right side.
Is a Frigidaire the same as an Electrolux?
Both are Electrolux Group brands, and their North American products share engineering and a parts supply. Frigidaire is the mass-market line; Electrolux is the premium line. Parts are still matched by model number.
My Frigidaire chest freezer in the garage stopped freezing. Is it worth a call?
Usually yes if it is a thermostat, relay or start component; those are modest repairs. If the diagnosis points to the sealed system, the $89 finding will tell you honestly whether the freezer is worth it, and that is all you pay.
Do you repair Frigidaire Gallery and Professional models?
Yes. They use more electronic controls than the base line and the parts are more model-specific. Have the full model number ready when you book.
How long do Frigidaire parts take?
