Who we are

RepairWell is a new appliance repair service for Ottawa and Gatineau, launched in 2026. We are starting out, and we would rather say so plainly than borrow anyone else's reviews or history. What we offer instead is a clear rule: you get the diagnosis in writing, and the price before the work.

What we do differently

Most appliance repair companies promise speed and a free service call. We promise something you can hold: a written diagnosis on every visit. When a RepairWell technician looks at your appliance, you get the finding on paper before any repair begins: what failed, why, what it costs to fix, and whether we'd fix it if it were ours. The diagnostic visit is $89, and it's waived when you go ahead with the repair. If the honest answer is "replace it", we'll tell you, and the $89 is all you pay. We don't sell appliances, so there's nothing in it for us either way.

Qualifications

• Gas connection work: done by a certified gas contractor we work with, not in-house
• Sealed-system refrigerant work: done for us by a certified refrigeration technician, not in-house
• Commercial general liability insurance and WSIB coverage in place
• Service in English and French across Ottawa and Gatineau

Our commitments

• A written finding on every visit, including the ones where we recommend not repairing.
• The fee rule on this website is the fee rule on your invoice.
• No repair starts without your approval of the quote.
• If a repair doesn't hold, you call us first and we make it right under the warranty: 90 days on labour and installed parts.
