About Electrolux appliances
Electrolux Group names Electrolux, Frigidaire and AEG as its three main brands. The Electrolux brand is its premium line in North America; Frigidaire is the mass-market line. Electrolux's Canadian support site publishes a rating-plate locator that is identical to Frigidaire's, which is consistent with the shared North American engineering.
For repair, Electrolux front-load washers and dryers are the most common call and use model-specific control boards, door locks and drain pumps. Electrolux cooking and refrigeration products use electronic controls with model-specific boards and, on some ranges, a separate relay board. Error codes appear on the display and mean different things on different models. Older Electrolux Icon built-in refrigerators are a separate design and take more disassembly.
Finding your Electrolux model and serial number
Electrolux Canada's support article gives these locations. Front-load washer: trim of the door; top-load: back of the tub opening under the lid. Dryer: top of the door opening. Laundry centre: trim of the dryer door. Pedestal: side of the pedestal drawer when pulled out. Top-freezer fridge: upper left side wall of the fresh-food compartment; French-door and side-by-side: upper right side. Upright freezer: interior side trim; chest freezer: left exterior wall above the access panel. Range: interior side trim of the oven, left side panel, or front frame of the storage drawer. Wall oven and microwave: interior side trim. Cooktop: underside of the base when lifted. Dishwasher: interior side of the door or right side of the tub. Range hood: beneath the unit on the left side panel or by the filter.

Parts and compatibility
Electrolux parts share a Canadian supply chain with Frigidaire, so pumps, motors, elements and valves are generally available. Control boards, door locks, ice makers and door assemblies are model-specific and quoted by model number. We use original Electrolux parts for controls and safety-related components. Parts for Electrolux Icon built-ins and for units over about fifteen years old may be discontinued; the written finding tells you before you decide.

Open the door and look at the trim around the door opening. Dryers have the label at the top of the door opening.
Is Electrolux the same company as Frigidaire?

Do you repair stacked Electrolux washer-dryer pairs in condos?
Yes. Tell us they are stacked and how much clearance the closet has; some dryer repairs require lifting the unit off the washer.
Do you service Electrolux Icon built-in fridges?
Yes, with the model number in advance. They are an older built-in design with more disassembly, and some parts may be discontinued; the written finding says so before you commit.
How long do Electrolux parts take?
Common parts are often on the truck; others arrive in days from Canadian distribution. Anything back-ordered is flagged with a lead time in your written quote.
