Fisher & Paykel Appliances was founded in 1934 in New Zealand and, since 2012, has been majority-owned by Haier, which also owns GE Appliances. The company sells in Canada through fisherpaykel.com/ca. Its best-known product is the DishDrawer dishwasher, a drawer-format dishwasher sold as a single or double unit; the company also makes the CoolDrawer, a refrigerator drawer with selectable modes.
Fisher & Paykel publishes a serial-label location guide by product type (a PDF on its site) and per-product support articles. For repair, DishDrawers have a different layout from door dishwashers: each drawer has its own motor, pump and lid seal, and the serial label is inside the cabinet under the drawer. Fisher & Paykel refrigeration and cooking use brand-specific electronics; there is limited parts cross-over with other brands.

Fisher & Paykel's serial-number location guide gives these positions. Single DishDrawer: inside the cabinet, underneath the drawer; double DishDrawer: inside the cabinet, underneath the top drawer. Conventional dishwasher: inside on the left-hand side of the door. Refrigerator: inside the cabinet at the bottom right. CoolDrawer: inside right wall panel. Chest freezer, bar fridge and wine cabinet: on the back of the product. Built-in ovens: under the control panel inside the oven, inside the top oven panel, or on the inside of the front frame depending on the model. Freestanding ranges: on the right-hand side of the storage-compartment flap or on the chassis behind the right-hand storage drawer, depending on the model. Cooktop: underside, near the gas entry point on gas models. Range hood: inside the product. Front-load washer: top of the door frame with the door open, or on the back. Top-load washer: back of the top panel. Dryer: inside the door or on the back.

Fisher & Paykel parts are brand-specific and come through the company's North American distribution. DishDrawer components (motor, pump, lid actuator, seals, control) are unique to that design. We quote original parts in writing with the expected lead time; some parts are stocked in Canada and others ship from the U.S. or further, and we do not promise a date we cannot back. On older DishDrawer generations some parts may be discontinued; the finding flags that before you decide.
