Diagnosis, then the repair
The technician gives you the cause, the price and a repair-or-replace verdict in writing. Common parts are on the van; anything ordered is dated in the finding.
What same-day does and doesn't mean
Same-day means a visit today when the schedule allows it, at the normal price. It does not mean 24-hour service, and it does not mean every repair is finished in one visit. We would rather tell you the first window is tomorrow morning than promise today and miss it.
If the appliance is a safety problem right now (a gas smell, smoke, sparks, water reaching electrical outlets) stop using it and follow the appliance emergency steps before booking anything.
While you wait
- Fridge or freezer: keep the doors closed; a full freezer holds its temperature for many hours unopened.
- Washer or dishwasher leaking: turn off the supply valves behind or under the appliance and switch off its breaker.
- Dryer not heating or smelling hot: stop using it until it has been checked; see dryer vent safety.
- Oven or cooktop fault: switch it off at the breaker if it won't turn off or trips the panel.

Availability depends on where the technician already is that day, so the honest answer is always on the booking form or one phone call away.

Is same-day repair guaranteed?
No. We offer it when a technician has an open window that day, and we say so rather than promise it. The booking form only shows today when a window is still open. Otherwise the earliest slot is the first window tomorrow, and you can still call or text (613) 880-3013 to ask.
Does same-day or weekend service cost more?
No. The diagnostic is $89 plus tax whenever the visit falls within our hours (Mon–Fri 7 am–9 pm; Sat–Sun 8 am–6 pm), waived when you go ahead with the repair. There is no same-day, evening or weekend surcharge inside those hours.
Can the repair be finished the same day?
Often, when the part is a common one we carry. If a part has to be ordered we tell you the expected date in the written finding, and the second visit to fit it is part of the quoted price.
What counts as urgent?
A water leak you can't stop at the valve, a fridge or freezer with food at risk, or an appliance that trips the breaker. Choose Yes: water leak or food at risk under Is it urgent? in the booking form and we prioritise the earliest window. Do you offer 24-hour or overnight service?
No. Visits are scheduled within our posted hours, Mon–Fri 7 am–9 pm; Sat–Sun 8 am–6 pm. Outside those hours, book online for the first window of the next day and use the safety steps on the emergency page in the meantime.
Which areas can get same-day service?
All of our Ottawa and Gatineau service areas. Same-day availability depends on where the technician already is that day, so an address near an existing job is more likely to get an early window.
